Beware of RAPP Impersonators

February 03, 2025

We have recently become aware of individuals or entities impersonating RAPP and its employees in the Philippines. These impersonators are fraudulently using our name, logo, and other branding elements to mislead the public or engage in unlawful activities.

RAPP is not affiliated with these individuals and does not have an office, or is not hiring anyone, in the Philippines. We also do not ever request any form of payment from prospective job applicants at any stage of the recruitment process. We do not maintain RAPP groups/channels or recruit prospective employees on Telegram or WhatsApp. Additionally, please note that all official RAPP job postings are available only on our corporate website at RAPP.com, as well as our official company LinkedIn

At RAPP, we take great pride in the candidate experience and have a reputation for quality and standing for individuality. We take this matter very seriously and are actively working to address this issue as best we can. We urge everyone to exercise caution when engaging with anyone claiming to represent RAPP to ensure that the communication is legitimate. Please see below for examples of what to look out for to identify scams.

Red Flags to Watch Out for:

  • Request for payment in exchange for a job placement or application
  • Emails from any email address other than RAPP’s official email domain. All legitimate RAPP emails end in @rapp.com.
  • Messages from fraudulent social media accounts impersonating RAPP or its employees.
  • Poor grammar, spelling mistakes, or unprofessional communication.
  • Offering payment for task completion, referrals, or commissions on task performance.
  • Impersonation of RAPP branding or logo.
  • Communicating through channels such as Telegram or WhatsApp for recruiting or prospective business development purposes.
