RAPP UK'S Creative Apprentice, Muniira, had an opportunity to meet Prince William as a part of her apprenticeship journey with us and Centrepoint.
Muniira was invited to meet with the Duke of Cambridge to share her story and journey on her apprenticeship. Afterwards, she and some other Centrepoint apprentices attended a gala hosted by Prince William and Centrepoint. There was dinner, dancing, a charity auction and performances by Ellie Goulding, Rita Ora and Duran Duran!
Says Muniira, “I am extremely grateful to have been given a platform to change the narrative of youth homelessness. It’s something people don’t realise is an issue until it happens to them or someone close to them…and it shouldn’t have to be this way. That’s why I aspire to live every day working towards change.”
We hear she shared her story with great poise and consideration all to influence the future of youth homelessness in the UK.
